You might have thought a compilation made in 2020 would be hard to put together – you might get material for a one-sided single at most. But as always Pirates Press sails on through stormy seas and this time the skipper and his band of merry men have come up with this collection of fourteen great tunes.

This voyage crosses the Atlantic Ocean several times, picking up bands from both sides of the pond. You have some veteran names on board – Cock Sparrer and Subhumans offering up a couple of modern classics. Modern favourites like The Bar Stool Preachers, Noi!se, The Drowns and 45 Adapters keep the good times rolling, and we stop off in Canada and France to pick up Bishops Green and Lion’s Law along the way.

The Slackers offer a welcome relief with some soothing reggae/ ska, before it’s back to the blistering sounds of up and coming names like Charger, Antagonizers ATL and Seized Up. Finally, tracks by Shuffle & Bang and Lenny Lashley provide the start and end of the journey in fine style.
