Doctor Bison – Dewhursts: The Musical/Bring It On CD (Boss Tuneage)
Concluding Boss Tunage’s comprehensive reissue of the DB back catalogue, and once again it’s a nicely put together affair comprising of the bands ‘Dewhursts: The Musical’ album, 4 track ‘Bring It On’ ep and four previously unreleased tracks, completed by liner notes from drummer The Rev, and brand new artwork by Creator Graphics. It’s more of the same melodic folky rock with a hint of punk (for some reason it reminds me of Bad Religion in places). A bit too mellow and melodic for my taste but Frank Turner fans will rejoice. Ian Pickens
