Self-styled “regressive metal” band Chuggernaut deliver great heavy metal through a range of styles that always seem to have a superb heavy groove. Toeing the line of stoner rock/metal, this Boston Quartet slams through five tracks of pure delightful music that are guaranteed to appeal to a varied crowd of metal fans. Even the album name, Kodiak, puts in mind the aggression and danger embodied by this majestic creature.
