Ryker’s/ The Eulogy – Split 7” (Unity Worldwide)

\"\"

Kassel, Germany meets California on this pairing of hardcore heavyweights. Each band offers two full-on bruisers packed onto the grooves of this EP. Starting with German old schoolers Ryker’s, their songs bounce along with the moshpit in mind. Heavy without being metal and packing a real punch with the gang vocal back-ups.

Over the other side of the ocean, The Eulogy feature ex- members of Madball and Ignite (amongst many more) in their ranks, so a pedigree that suits Ryker’s perfectly. They take in the classic hardcore style of the likes of Madball, SOIA or Terror, with a huge guitar sound and plenty of groove. A surprise is a cover of the Agent Orange classic “Bloodstains”, and it works a treat as The Eulogy really make this their own. To find out more about this great little record head over to, and read, our split interview with both bands Tom Chapman
