Today we are excited to debut the newest song to drop from Cutting Through, “Internal Fight”. “Internal Fight” is the latest song to be released from the upcoming “Empathy” EP
“Empathy” hits stores in May and is the follow up to the “A Will to Change” 12” EP released on New Age Records last Spring.
The band leaves for their first Europe tour on April 12th. In May, Cutting Through return to the states to begin touring the U.S.
Cutting Through consists of current and former members of Go it Alone, Get the Most, Fired Up, Blue Monday, Safe and Sound & Unrestrained. The concept of the band was inspired by an era of hardcore that was anthemic and had emphasis on message. The band values the opportunity to speak out on injustice and the shortcomings of our current social climate. Cutting Through seeks to foster a connection between listener and group, with the intention of spreading a message of optimism and the idea that we have the ability to improve ourselves and our surroundings.
Hailing from the small town of Portland, Oregon, Cutting Through is a band several years in the making. Singer Driggs and guitarist Kyle blueprinted the vision for the band. The basis for the band being a rekindling for an era where hardcore was anthemic and had emphasis on message. The band values the opportunity to speak out on injustice and the shortcomings of the our current social climate. Cutting Through seeks the connection between listener and group, being actively engaged in spreading a message of optimism and the idea that we have the ability to improve ourselves and the surroundings around us.
