As I listen to the new Whores album the thought that keeps crossing my mind is that this is what it would sound like if EyeHateGod listened to nothing but old Helmet and Ministry records. As I am a fan of all three of those bands this mix makes me very happy. The songs are both cohesive and noisy, edgy without going over the edge. I’m not sure if Gold will sell gold but it would be cool if it did. While I haven’t had time to memorize all of the song titles yet, I do know that I like each and every track and having this on my playlist definitely makes my work day more enjoyable. Add to that the fact this band hails from Atlanta (4 hours or so from my hometown), this should mean that catching them live will be a strong possibility. Awesome! Jim Dodge
