As you probably already know by now, Emmure had to cancel their entire EU/UK tour because of Frankie’s severe acute and chronic reflux laryngitis and a weak, partially paralyzed, left vocal cord. We wish him a good recovery!

We are happy to announce that we are flying in a more than worthy, equally brutal replacement for an exclusive European show. You might have heard of them. They\’re called THE ACACIA STRAIN

Another little bummer to start off this week: Obliterations have had to pull the plug on their Eurotour. So they won\’t be appearing at Groezrock, sadly.

Statement from the band:

\”Due to unforeseen issues Obliterations regrettably needs to cancel all European and UK touring plans this spring. A vital member of the group has become unavailable for personal reasons and the group does not have ample time to find or rehearse a replacement. The band is extremely sorry and quite upset about the turn of events. Hopefully they can make these dates up to all promoters and fans someday in the future.\”

But wait! Here\’s a little pick-me-up to kickstart your week all over again: we will have ANGEL DU$T at the festival. No, not the drugs, but the Baltimore hardcore project featuring members of Trapped Under Ice, Turnstile and Mindset. If you like it short, fast & 80s style… This will get you to freak out like you\’re on… Eh… Angel dust.
