The Zipheads – Z2: Rampage! (Bomber Music)

\"zipheads-album\"

Lots of clueless folks talk about “Rock\’N\’Roll” like it’s an unwanted, single male at a swingers soiree. Like it’s something that they’re vaguely aware of that should stay at the back of the room, lost, alone and forgotten.  To me though, rock-n-roll is more precious than gold, and I suspect that the same is true of the cats who dedicate their lives, souls and hearts to pouring their blood, sweat and tears into making music that hits you like a sledgehammer and makes you want to dance your days and nights away in a never ending blur of near orgasmic pleasure.  And the cats making that music? They’re called The Zipheads, and their infectious Stray Cats meets The Living End meets Tiger Army with an extra side of swing, velocity and volume cranked high, insanely catchy tunes will end up being the death of me as it’s damn near impossible to keep pace with them, no matter how much you want to. The Zipheads, are like the Rockabilly embodiment of the Pied Piper of Hamlin, once you hear them, you’ll happily follow them to Hell and back and sell your soul to them for one more spin of Z2:Rampage!. Rock\’n\’roll is here to stay, and so are The Zipheads… Tim Cundle
