The Vintage Caravan – LIVE @ Crauford Arms, Milton Keynes 23/10/15

Every time I see this band, they simply just get better; and they are still so young! Nuclear Blast have hooked a great catch here, and TVC play like crazed madmen. Totally capturing the audiences attention from the off, the response is overwhelming and the perfectly sized venue is buzzing from wall to wall. For a trio The Vintage Caravan utilise the stage space impeccably, and each member creates a visual causing confusion of who to watch – this is what live music is all about. The Icelandic connotations creep through with their brand of retro-rock and it’s the paced parts which add an extra dimension to the oh so popular trend of the past which is very much present at this period in time. The musicianship stands up to the expectations, and the live sound benefits all angles. Stepping up to the demand of the crowd, the first encore pleases, and a 2nd invitation causes the band to delve into the back catalogue of ‘un-rehearsed’ material; which they execute with ease. What your back old-timers… as these are the future of rock! Mark Freebase
