It’s funny – ideas for songs like these will have traditionally emerged as a result of a drinking session after (or sometimes before) a band practise. Well the year 2020 has turned out very different for all of us, not in the least The Vicious Cycles, who have had the idea for, and then recorded this song, during lockdown in the confines of their own homes.

Singing about experiences I’m sure we’ve all had, following the guidance to wash our hands every waking hour of the day until they feel like Sandpaper. Clocking in at just under two minutes, this tune has got something of a Rancid feel to it, punk rock’n’roll with a touch of organ to inject some warmth into proceedings.
