Somewhere in the depths of the year that was 2020, Sam Russo treated the world to the release of his latest album, Back To The Party. Well you can imagine the successful world tour that followed… And so the album was sadly confined to the footnotes of the year that never was. Actually, we thought it was a great record, with Sam’s soulful vocals and acoustic guitar crafting songs that were at occasionally fragile, at other times bold, but always catchy and memorable.

On this new release, Sam has given a trio of songs a powerblast by recording them with full instrumentation. Of course his vocals are instantly recognisable as indeed are the songs themselves, but these new versions bounce along with new energy and they are really something. The world kinda owes Sam a new lease of life and hopefully these rocking tunes will help him on that way.
