21 track expanded edition of the bands 1967 platter featuring Ry Cooder and Glen Campbell. Showcasing the bands Rhythm and Blues and more experimental side (with elements of Country and Motown creeping in on tracks such as ‘Reno’ and ‘Mo’reen’ and a more psychedelic feel on ‘Tighter’ and ‘I Hear a Voice’). Maybe a tad too experimental for some listeners who prefer the band’s more recognisable garage rock, this is a mixed bag and a little inconsistent because of it; nevertheless the excellent packaging job (an in depth Biography, rare photographs etc.) and extra tracks will appeal to collectors and completests.
