Thanks to Penguin Random House we’ve got a couple of guest list places for an event that they’ve organised in London on Tuesday the 19th to celebrating the science fiction audiobook series, the Themis Files by Sylvain Neuvel. The first and second audiobooks, Sleeping Giants and Waking Gods, have been recognised in awards, and the third published was last month. Each audiobook has around 10 actors playing a number of roles and are incredibly popular with audiobook and science fiction fans.

The event is a joint production with the immersive cinema company Backyard Cinema, who currently have a cinema set up like a spaceship. The event will start with a Q&A between the cast and producers who will be talking about how they brought the book to life in audio, and will then be followed by a 30-minute extract of the audiobook being played to the audience. There will also be a bar open all evening.

The specific location (it is in London, so please be aware that you\’ll need to get to the captial before enetring the giveaway), time and details of the event will be provided to the giveaway winner.
