Motherfuckin’ Motherfuckers – MFFFMF (Lux Noise / Ghost Highway Recordings / Savage Magic Records)

What happens if you take two Hip Priests and a pair of Bitch Queens into a Swiss studio for 24 hours? The Motherfuckin’ Motherfuckers, that’s what! If you believe the story, lead narcissist Lee Love boasted of his abilities to churn out killer rock ‘n’ roll tunes at the drop of a sailor’s hat during a 7 hour drink and drug binge. The hungover result? Seven slices of unsterilised, speed fuelled garage rock ‘n’ roll that barely bother the two minute mark. However, they will bother your mother!

In terms of the recording and rehearsal time (or lack of), instant comparisons can be drawn to Nick Royale, Dregen and Ginger Wildheart joining forces for Supershit 666. It’s a fair comparison and the Motherfuckin’ Motherfuckers are on par as the feedback and fuzz hits your R ‘n’ R G-spot in a filthy melting pot of beer, nicotine and all the good stuff in life.

Some bands would take a year to concoct and conceive a bunch of punk rock tracks this good. The MFMFs seemingly excrete them for shits and giggles. Is it an EP? Is it a mini album? Who gives a fuck?! It’s loud, it’s fast, it’s raw, it’s urgent, it’s dirty, and it’s right up in your stupid fucking face. Ginge Knievil
