What Could Be the Headline Act at Wrestlemania 36?

\"\"

Tickets have just gone on sale for Wrestlemania 36 next year which will take place at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida. Speculation has, therefore, already started on who will be in the main event for the flagship event in the WWE. Last year Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey made history by taking part in the first women’s main event at Wrestlemania. How will the WWE look to match that this time around?

The Fiend Bray Wyatt vs Seth Rollins

The Fiend Bray Wyatt and Seth Rollins have faced each other twice in pay-per-views where they both have a victory to their name. It was the Fiend who came out on top in his most recent match up at Crown Jewel where he took the Universal Championship off Rollins in Saudi Arabia. Although they are now on different brands, WWE may see Wrestlemania as the perfect event for the two men to settle their rivalry once and for all. The Fiend is proving to be a very popular character and he has earned the opportunity to be part of the main event next April in Tampa Bay.

Tyson Fury vs Brock Lesner

Former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury made his WWE debut at Crown Jewel where he defeated Braun Strowman with a knockout punch which resulted in the Monster Among Men being counted out of the ring. Fury could return to the WWE next year with Wrestlemania a possible pay-per-view for him to appear. The British boxer has gone back into camp to prepare for his rematch with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder where the pair are scheduled to meet on February 22. Fury is -155 in the boxing odds on offer from Space Casino on the big fight. A contest with WWE champion Brock Lesner looks an obvious match-up which would generate a lot of coverage given they have both been successful in their respective sports. Lesner is sure to be part of the big matches on the night and it could end up being against Fury.

Randy Orton v Adam Cole

Randy Orton has been part of some memorable Wrestlemania matches over the years, including Wrestlemania 21 when he lost to the Undertaker, while at Wrestlemania XXIV he beat John Cena and Triple H in a triple threat match. Orton, who has been known as the legend slayer, is now the legend which many of the younger wrestlers in the WWE would love to face and beat at the biggest event of the year. Adam Cole is currently the star of NXT and it won’t be long before he moves to Raw or Smackdown. Cole is a big hit with WWE fans so it would make sense to include him at Wrestlemania 36 where a match with Orton will be a showdown which wrestling fans would get right behind.

The next pay-per-view on the wrestling calendar is Survivor Series, while Royal Rumble will return for its latest installment in January before excitement really does build up for Wrestlemania.
