Church Of Confidence – Damnation To The Non-Believers

Church Of Confidence – Damnation To The Non-Believers LP/ CD (Wild At Heart Records) Berlin\’s prolific punk\’n\’roll machine is back with what I believe is their seventh album. I felt with their previous album \”In Black & White\” they had really hit their stride and found the true Church Of Confidence style, and this album is very much in the same vein. On \”Damnation…\”, the band invite you to get on your motorbikes and set off on a musical roadtrip. Kicking off in sunny Orange County nodding at Mike Ness as you pass by, this turbo-driven machine takes you past the meccas and birthplaces of blues and rock\’n\’roll, before riding into the grime and crime of New York City on a cold morning. Church Of Confidence blend all of these sounds into their style and the result is an infectious rock\’n\’roll cocktail. Based in the infamous Wild At Heart club in Kreuzberg, Berlin, this is the musical embodiment of a night out in your favourite bar. Forget the inevitable hangover and come down the next morning, live for the moment and grab yourself a bit of Berlin damnation. Tom Chapman
