Featuring former Trouble members Eric Wagner and Ron Holzner along with ex-Pentagram drummer Sean Saley, The Skull seem likely to turn a few heads. Sounding like its contents were written amidst ‘Trouble’ and ‘Manic Frustration’ this self-titled EP conjures up every conceivable positive of the genre it wallows in. Filthy rich guitar riffs from Lothar Keller (Sacred Dawn) and Rob Wrong (Witch Mountain) lay a solid foundation for Eric’s unmistakable wail, and when combined they make it seem like it was the 80’s all over again.
