Nasty – Shokka (BDHW)
The Belgian audio terrorists strike again. Nasty have made it their task to give the loudest, ugliest, most obnoxious brand of metalcore a sleek veneer of almost sexy, street credibility. It works rather well, with flashy images, professional videos, and colourful language. \’Shokka\’ is another stepforward in all regards… the riffs are louder, the colours brighter. Like a heavily armed gang from the hood, these young fellows are out to frighten your pets, with their massive breaks, and mosh the hell out of your sleeping little town. This world is and ugly, violent place, and we\’re all going to die, but with Nasty you can a least wear a nice shirt to your grave. Martijn Welzen
