Moscow Death Brigade – Boltcutter (Fire and Flames Music)

I’ve never really been a rap guy and apart from a few albums by Public Enemy, NWA, Beastie Boys and Necro, I don’t really know all that much about it. However, that might be about t change as Boltcutter has kicked the holy hell out of me, left me grinning from ear to ear and hitting the repeat button over and over and over again. Fast, frantic, furious and focussed, Moscow Death Brigade deliver cut after cut of intelligent, heartfelt hardcore rap that questions authority, the status quo and the ills that plague modern global society and transforms the righteous anger that fuels it into immediate, incredibly infectious and emotionally charged energy.  Despite the fact that I’ve been a punk rocker for the last three decades and some change, I never really believed that music could change, or have an impact, on the world. Until now. This is the sound of revolution, and Moscow Death Brigade are at its forefront, leading the charge… Tim Cundle
